Chris Hempel, Business Development

Chris Hempel has over 20 years of experience in selling and managing both interactive and traditional media. Prior to joining the Mission Control team, Hempel sold media and managed sales teams at The Wall Street Journal, IAC, Ziff-Davis, IDG, Atlantic Media, Capital Cities/ABC and New Media. Hempel’s early involvement in digital solutions date back to 1995 with the advent of the commercial use of the internet while with New Media. He joined IDG the following year and, like all IT publishers, worked to bridge the traditional media world with the digital future. In 2005 Hempel joined The Wall Street Journal and was an early adopter of working closely with the digital team to provide complete media messaging to print clients of the Journal. Prior to joining Mission Control, Hempel worked with the IAC Ad Solutions group to cross sell several of the IAC properties, individually and in combination, to provide creatively tailor digital solutions across a broad range of clients. Joining the Mission Control team, his focus is developing business relationships with new clients and extending current relationships and partnerships.
