Jonathan Josell
Jonathan Josell started his career working on feature films as a department coordinator, prior to selling story ideas to Captain Planet. This lead to his writing and producing on features and television shows for Paramount, Fox HBO and Showtime. Always interested in storytelling, but fascinated with the development of the internet as a marketing tool, Jonathan began his transition into brand building via interactive marketing. With successes working at several internet start-ups, Jonathan opened his first agency in 2002. His approach, bypassing traditional buying methods in favor of content based marketing which hyper-targeted client demos, provided him the platform to grow his business with clients like Toshiba Copiers, Bosch Appliances and Coleman Camping Equipment.
In 2007, recognizing the importance of social marketing and the declining value of traditional media buys, Jonathan began working with various social platforms. With the ability for anyone with a web connection to impact a product purchase decision, Jonathan began pitching programs which allowed clients to expand the value of positive conversations while redirecting negative ones to limit brand damage. Creating positive brand interaction with consumers is the cornerstone of how the Mission Control builds campaigns, something not previously possible with traditional media buys. Going back to his storytelling roots, Jonathan has built a proprietary program that creates the voice of a client through social conversations with buyers.
Jonathan oversees all campaigns for Mission Control ensuring that corporate voice is achieved through all the different elements of the campaign.
